Open calls for visual artists in New York City are frequent, offering opportunities to showcase work in gallery exhibitions, public art projects, and community-focused installations. These calls often come from galleries, non-profits, museums, and artist-run spaces, providing a platform for both emerging and established artists. Platforms such as ArtConnects, CaFÉ (CallForEntry), and New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) regularly list these opportunities, which may include solo exhibitions, group shows, and project-based commissions.
